IN MEMORY

     William "Bill" Banks & Gladys Lee Reed Banks will be deeply missed in Crowder, Oklahoma as well as many other places in Southeast Oklahoma.  Bill & Lee both grew up in the area, met and married.  They left the area for awhile, then returned in 1984.  They began worshipping with the Crowder church and Bill became the song leader for approximately one year, before becoming the Minister in 1987.  Bill was an excellent teacher and preacher and always taught the truth as portrayed in the Scriptures.  Lee loved the Lord and taught many young women to love Him also.  The Banks were responsible for many souls finding the Lord.

Bill and Lee went to be with our Lord in February, 2008, within twenty-six days of one another.  They, like the Apostle Paul as stated in II Timothy 4:7, "have fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith". 

Bill & Lee will always be remembered for their love of the Lord and their dedication to teaching the Gospel.
